Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a physical and dynamic yoga,
where the postures, “the Asanas” are linked together by the breath. This thoracic breathing called “Ujjayi” is a deep and sonorous breathing, which aims at an “internal cleansing”.
Indeed, thanks to the heat produced by the combination of breathing and movement (vinyasa), the body temperature will then increase which will allow the blood to circulate and cleanse itself of its toxins through sweat. . This practice allows the body to cleanse itself to become, over time, a moving meditation.
The practice of this yoga is therefore a personal practice of introspection, which allows you to rediscover your body at your own pace.
It also teaches patience, detachment, humility, control and self-acceptance.
On a physical level, this practice works deep muscles in all areas of the body, whether in strengthening or flexibility.
